The New 8th Congressional District in North Carolina

By Administrator, on Aug 7, 2011

In what media outlets are calling a "redistricting bonanza," North Carolina GOP legislators have approved new US Congressional districts that target four current Democrat office-holders.  The redrawn lines have jeopardized the incumbencies of current Congressmen Larry Kissell (D-8), Brad Miller (D-13), Mike McIntyre (D-7), and Heath Shuler (D-11).

The potential for North Carolina to pick up three to four seats in the 2012 elections will keep national attention riveted on Congressional campaigns in the Old North State.
